Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and landscaping duties on park grounds, trails, and recreational facilities to ensure a safe and aesthetically pleasing environment.
- Assist in the setup, operation, and breakdown of community events, sports leagues, and recreational programs.
- Monitor park areas for safety hazards, maintenance needs, and code violations; report issues to supervisors immediately.
- Interact with the public in a friendly and professional manner, providing information and resolving customer inquiries.
- Operate and maintain light to medium-duty equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems.
- Conduct waste management duties, including litter removal and trash collection in designated areas.
- Enforce park rules and regulations to ensure the well-being of all patrons.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in landscaping, maintenance, or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- A valid Class C Texas Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record is required.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of gardening tools and equipment is a plus.
- Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts based on operational needs.
