Responsibilities
- Maintain and clean park facilities, restrooms, and recreational areas to ensure high standards of hygiene and safety.
- Assist with landscaping duties, including mowing, raking, trimming, and seasonal planting.
- Monitor park activities to ensure compliance with park rules and regulations.
- Set up and dismantle recreational equipment for sports, events, and programs.
- Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in designated areas.
- Interact positively with park visitors, answering questions and providing assistance as needed.
- Perform light maintenance and repairs on park furniture and structures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Valid Driver’s License (preferred but not always required).
- Basic knowledge of landscaping or gardening practices is a plus.
