Responsibilities
- Maintain Park Facilities: Perform routine inspections and maintenance of park equipment, playgrounds, and recreational areas to ensure safety and functionality.
- Groundskeeping: Conduct landscaping tasks, including mowing, trimming, planting, and trash removal to keep public spaces pristine and welcoming.
- Community Events: Assist in the setup, coordination, and execution of community events, festivals, and recreational programs.
- Safety Compliance: Monitor park areas for hazards, enforce safety rules, and respond promptly to emergencies or maintenance issues.
- Administrative Support: Utilize remote-friendly capabilities to assist with data entry, inventory management, and reporting from your home office.
- Public Interaction: Interact positively with park visitors, answer inquiries, and provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in parks and recreation, landscaping, or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods; must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Skills: Basic knowledge of tools and equipment, strong attention to detail, and basic computer literacy for remote tasks.
- Availability: Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
- License: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are highly desirable.
