Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain park facilities, playgrounds, athletic courts, and equipment
- Lead recreational activities including youth sports, senior fitness, and community events
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and conduct routine inspections
- Assist with park beautification projects including landscaping and irrigation maintenance
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors and program participants
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special events and seasonal programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in recreation management preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in parks, hospitality, or customer service role
- Valid Florida Driver's License with clean driving record
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in teams
- Basic knowledge of turf management and facility maintenance practices
