Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds, athletic fields, and recreational facilities using provided equipment
- Operate machinery including mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems
- Assist with event setup/teardown for community festivals and sports leagues
- Perform routine safety inspections and report maintenance needs
- Interact positively with park visitors and enforce facility guidelines
- Collaborate with team on seasonal beautification projects
- Complete maintenance logs and incident reports accurately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Tennessee driver's license (Class C)
- Ability to operate power equipment safely
- Physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of groundskeeping and facility maintenance
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (training provided)
