Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds including mowing, landscaping, and facility upkeep
- Operate maintenance equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with event setup and supervision for community programs
- Enforce park safety regulations and provide visitor assistance
- Perform seasonal preparation and winterization of park assets
- Collaborate with team on maintenance schedules and projects
- Document maintenance activities and submit reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Experience in grounds maintenance or recreation preferred
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment (training provided)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols for public spaces
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
