Responsibilities
- Operate maintenance equipment (mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems)
- Inspect and repair park facilities, playgrounds, and sports courts
- Lead community recreational programs and events
- Ensure park safety standards and cleanliness protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on landscape projects
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors
- Participate in seasonal park beautification initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid California Driver's License (Class C)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varied weather
- Basic knowledge of landscaping/maintenance tools
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Experience with public programs preferred
