Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance of park grounds including mowing, trimming, litter removal, and equipment upkeep
- Operate recreational facilities (pools, athletic courts, playgrounds) ensuring safety compliance and cleanliness
- Assist with special events setup/teardown and crowd management during festivals and activities
- Conduct routine inspections of park amenities and report maintenance needs or safety hazards
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors, answering inquiries and resolving concerns promptly
- Collaborate with team members on beautification projects including landscaping and habitat preservation
- Maintain accurate records of facility usage, maintenance logs, and incident reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications (CPR/First Aid) preferred
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to safety protocols and equipment operation standards
- Experience in grounds maintenance, facility operations, or customer service
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- Basic knowledge of horticulture principles or park management practices
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in team settings
