Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds, athletic fields, playgrounds, and landscaping areas through mowing, trimming, planting, and watering.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of park buildings, restrooms, and picnic shelters.
- Set up, operate, and dismantle equipment for special events, festivals, and recreational programs.
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of park structures, fences, and park amenities.
- Enforce park rules and regulations to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all visitors.
- Operate light to heavy motorized equipment such as tractors, mowers, and dump trucks when necessary.
- Monitor and report maintenance needs to supervisors to ensure timely resolution.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License and a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push heavy objects weighing up to 50+ pounds.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping, gardening, and maintenance practices.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, rain, and cold.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with the public and team members.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
