Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain park facilities, playgrounds, and athletic fields
- Assist in planning and executing special events and recreational programs
- Perform groundskeeping duties including mowing, trimming, and irrigation
- Ensure public safety through equipment inspections and hazard removal
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors and community members
- Collaborate with team members on maintenance schedules and projects
- Complete daily activity logs and incident reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of groundskeeping equipment operation and safety
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred (training provided)
- Experience in parks maintenance or recreation programs preferred
