Responsibilities
- Maintain park landscapes including mowing, pruning, and seasonal planting
- Operate maintenance equipment (mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems)
- Supervise recreational facilities and ensure safety compliance
- Coordinate setup for community events, sports leagues, and programs
- Perform routine inspections of playgrounds and athletic courts
- Assist with snow removal and winter maintenance duties
- Document maintenance activities and submit equipment reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean record
- 1+ years groundskeeping or park maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate power equipment
- OSHA 10-hour safety certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Basic first aid/CPR certification required
