Responsibilities
- Perform daily park maintenance including landscaping, trash removal, and equipment checks
- Assist with setup/teardown for community events, sports leagues, and cultural programs
- Monitor park usage, enforce safety protocols, and provide visitor assistance
- Support youth and adult recreation programs as activity facilitators
- Operate park machinery (mowers, trimmers) and maintain facility cleanliness
- Report maintenance issues and participate in seasonal park improvement projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant coursework preferred
- Valid Texas Driver's License with clean driving record
- Basic knowledge of park maintenance practices and safety standards
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse populations
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks in outdoor conditions
- Experience in customer service, event coordination, or recreation programs
- First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
