Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain park facilities, playgrounds, athletic courts, and green spaces
- Organize and lead recreational programs for all age groups (sports, arts, nature activities)
- Conduct routine safety inspections and implement preventive maintenance protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using digital project management tools
- Manage inventory and equipment through remote inventory systems
- Respond to resident inquiries via virtual communication channels
- Document field activities through mobile reporting apps
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- 1+ years in parks maintenance, event coordination, or recreation services
- Valid Kansas driver's license and clean driving record
- First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Proficient with digital tools (Slack, Google Workspace, mobile reporting)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication skills with customer service focus
