Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance of park facilities including playgrounds, sports courts, and walking paths
- Operate landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers) for upkeep of green spaces
- Inspect and report safety hazards or facility damage to supervisors
- Assist with event setup and breakdown for community gatherings
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors and address inquiries
- Monitor park areas to ensure compliance with city ordinances
- Collaborate with team members on seasonal projects and cleanup initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment maintenance
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Previous park maintenance or landscaping experience preferred
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
- Must pass background check and drug screening
