Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds, athletic fields, and recreational facilities
- Operate equipment like mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems
- Assist with special events, tournaments, and community programs
- Enforce safety protocols and conduct facility inspections
- Interact positively with park visitors and program participants
- Perform light repairs and preventative maintenance tasks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on improvement projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California Driver's License with clean record
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with grounds maintenance or recreation programs preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of park safety regulations
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks
