Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair park facilities, including restrooms, playgrounds, and pavilions.
- Perform general landscaping duties, including mowing, trimming, edging, and planting seasonal flowers.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of community events, sports leagues, and recreational programs.
- Ensure the cleanliness of park grounds, including litter removal and waste management.
- Monitor park grounds for safety hazards, vandalism, and maintenance issues.
- Interact positively with the public, visitors, and other staff members.
- Operate light maintenance equipment and vehicles safely.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or customer service is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Valid Driver's License (Class E) required.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
