Responsibilities
- Maintain parks, recreational facilities, and public grounds by performing landscaping, cleaning, and minor repairs.
- Assist in the setup, operation, and breakdown of community events, festivals, and sports programs.
- Enforce park rules and regulations to ensure visitor safety and order.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, trash removal, and painting.
- Interact positively with the public, providing information and assistance to visitors and community members.
- Operate and maintain light equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and vehicles in a safe manner.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in parks maintenance, landscaping, or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Valid California Class C Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in grounds maintenance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
