Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and landscaping duties, including mowing, trimming, weeding, and planting.
- Inspect and maintain park facilities, restrooms, and playground equipment to ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of recreational events, sports leagues, and community programs.
- Operate and maintain various landscaping equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, and tractors.
- Enforce park rules and regulations to ensure a safe environment for residents and visitors.
- Collect litter and debris to maintain the aesthetic appeal of public parks and trails.
- Respond to public inquiries and provide excellent customer service to the community.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or public works is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
- Valid Nebraska Driver's License is required.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment operation.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
