Responsibilities
- Perform routine landscaping, mowing, trimming, and pruning of grass, shrubs, and trees to maintain park aesthetics.
- Inspect and maintain athletic fields, playgrounds, and recreational facilities for safety and cleanliness.
- Operate and perform routine maintenance on park tools, vehicles, and heavy machinery.
- Remove litter and debris from park grounds, trails, and parking areas to ensure a welcoming environment.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of park amenities for community events and recreational programs.
- Enforce park rules and regulations to ensure the safety of all visitors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D.).
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping techniques, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
- Valid driver's license (Class D) is preferred.
- Strong commitment to customer service and teamwork.
