Responsibilities
- Operate park maintenance equipment (mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems)
- Organize and supervise recreational programs for all age groups
- Inspect park facilities for safety hazards and perform repairs
- Lead volunteer groups for park beautification projects
- Enforce park regulations while providing exceptional visitor assistance
- Coordinate seasonal events and community outreach initiatives
- Maintain accurate records of park usage and maintenance activities
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid New Mexico driver's license with clean record
- First Aid/CPR certification within 30 days of hire
- Experience in groundskeeping or recreational facility management
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication skills for public interaction
- Basic knowledge of turf management and horticulture preferred
