Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain park facilities including playgrounds, athletic courts, and walking paths
- Organize and supervise recreational programs for all age groups
- Assist with event setup/teardown for festivals and community gatherings
- Perform routine park inspections and report maintenance needs
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and ADA regulations
- Collaborate with volunteer groups for park beautification projects
- Respond to resident inquiries and resolve facility-related issues
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid NJ driver's license with clean record
- 1+ years experience in grounds maintenance or recreation services
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Basic knowledge of turf management and horticulture preferred
