Responsibilities
- Perform routine park maintenance including landscaping, irrigation checks, and equipment upkeep
- Operate recreational facilities (pools, courts, playgrounds) and ensure safety compliance
- Assist with community event setup, supervision, and breakdown activities
- Conduct daily facility inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Support visitor interactions providing information and exceptional customer service
- Participate in seasonal park beautification projects and cleanup initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California Driver's License with clean record
- Experience in landscaping, facility maintenance, or recreation services preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain before start)
- Strong communication skills and commitment to public service values
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
