Responsibilities
- Maintain parks, playgrounds, and athletic fields using provided equipment
- Operate and care for department-provided tools and machinery
- Assist in event setup/breakdown for community programs
- Perform seasonal tasks like snow removal and irrigation maintenance
- Conduct safety inspections and report hazards
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors
- Participate in community outreach initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Physical stamina for manual labor (lifting up to 50 lbs)
- Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment operation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
