Responsibilities
- Design and implement virtual recreation programs including fitness classes, educational workshops, and community events
- Manage digital platforms for community engagement, social media, and virtual event coordination
- Conduct park assessments and maintenance oversight during on-site rotations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop inclusive recreational curricula
- Monitor program effectiveness through data analysis and participant feedback
- Coordinate volunteer initiatives for park beautification projects
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and accessibility standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Recreation Management, Public Administration, or related field
- 2+ years experience in parks/recreation program development or community engagement
- CPR/AED certification and First Aid training
- Proficiency in digital platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, social media management tools)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to engage diverse audiences
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
- Experience with budget management and grant writing preferred
