Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds, athletic fields, and recreational facilities through landscaping, cleaning, and minor repairs
- Operate equipment like mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently
- Assist with event setup, breakdown, and crowd management for community activities
- Enforce park rules and provide excellent customer service to visitors
- Contribute to conservation efforts by monitoring natural areas and wildlife habitats
- Collaborate with team members on maintenance schedules and special projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Hawaii driver's license with clean record
- Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor conditions (heat, humidity)
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and safety protocols
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in customer service or facility maintenance preferred
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
