Responsibilities
- Perform routine landscape maintenance, including mowing, edging, weeding, and planting.
- Maintain athletic fields, playgrounds, and recreational facilities to ensure a safe environment.
- Operate and maintain light to heavy motorized equipment and hand tools.
- Collect litter and debris from parks and public areas to keep our city beautiful.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of recreational programs, sports leagues, and special events.
- Monitor park usage and report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in landscaping, maintenance, or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Valid Class D Arizona Driver's License is required.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong commitment to public service and community engagement.
