Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain safety protocols at beach parks during weekend peak hours
- Conduct routine patrols to prevent vandalism, enforce regulations, and assist visitors
- Provide educational outreach on marine conservation and beach etiquette
- Coordinate emergency response incidents including first aid and lost persons
- Manage park facilities including restroom checks, equipment maintenance, and waste management
- Collaborate with lifeguard teams and law enforcement during joint operations
- Document daily activities, incident reports, and visitor feedback
Qualifications
- Valid California Driver's License with clean record
- CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years customer service or public safety experience
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and variable weather conditions
- Strong swimming skills and comfort in ocean environments
- Experience with conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques
- Knowledge of local marine ecosystems preferred
