Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds, including mowing, weeding, trimming, and landscaping to ensure a pristine appearance.
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, including tractors, mowers, and chain saws.
- Inspect and repair park facilities, such as restrooms, playgrounds, and pavilions, to ensure safety compliance.
- Monitor and adjust irrigation systems to conserve water and maintain healthy vegetation.
- Assist with the setup, execution, and breakdown of community events, festivals, and recreational programs.
- Enforce park rules and regulations to ensure a safe environment for all visitors.
- Collect trash and debris from public areas to maintain cleanliness standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid California Class C Driver's License and a satisfactory driving record.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping techniques, tools, and irrigation systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
