Responsibilities
- Perform daily grounds maintenance, including mowing, edging, weeding, and trimming of grass, trees, and shrubs.
- Maintain and clean park facilities, restrooms, and recreational areas to ensure high standards of hygiene.
- Assist in the preparation and breakdown of community events, sports leagues, and festivals.
- Inspect park equipment and facilities for safety hazards and report maintenance needs to supervisors.
- Operate landscaping machinery, such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Manage waste removal and recycling programs within designated park areas.
- Engage with park visitors to answer questions and provide assistance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods outdoors.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and maintenance equipment.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and environmental stewardship.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license (Preferred).
