Responsibilities
- Maintain park facilities, playgrounds, sports courts, and green spaces through daily cleaning, equipment checks, and minor repairs
- Lead recreational programs including youth sports, senior activities, and community events
- Assist with facility operations including pool management, equipment rentals, and event setup
- Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular hazard assessments
- Provide exceptional customer service to park visitors and program participants
- Collaborate with maintenance staff on landscape and irrigation projects
- Participate in emergency response and storm recovery efforts
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Florida Driver's License with clean record
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Experience in park maintenance, landscaping, or recreational programming preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required
