Responsibilities
- Perform routine grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, weeding, and raking.
- Clean and maintain restrooms, picnic areas, and park facilities to ensure high standards of hygiene.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of recreational events, sports leagues, and community programs.
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers.
- Monitor park areas for safety hazards, vandalism, or maintenance needs and report them promptly.
- Sweep and clean park walkways, parking lots, and playground equipment.
- Interact positively with park visitors, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing on uneven terrain.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment.
- Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
