Responsibilities
- Maintain park landscapes including turf, trees, and flower beds
- Operate and perform minor repairs on maintenance equipment
- Conduct routine safety inspections of park facilities
- Assist with seasonal park beautification projects
- Respond to citizen inquiries and service requests
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams for special events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid New York State Driver's License
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical labor outdoors
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment
- Experience in grounds maintenance preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Clean background check and drug screening required
