Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds, athletic fields, and recreational facilities ensuring safety and aesthetic standards
- Operate maintenance equipment including tractors, mowers, and irrigation systems
- Lead community events, youth programs, and seasonal recreational activities
- Monitor facility usage and implement preventative maintenance schedules
- Enforce park regulations while providing exceptional customer service to visitors
- Collaborate with cross-department teams on capital improvement projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 1+ years in park maintenance or recreation services
- Valid Nevada driver's license with clean driving record
- Certification in CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to operate heavy machinery and power tools safely
- Strong physical stamina for outdoor work in desert climates
- Excellent communication skills and conflict resolution abilities
- Experience with irrigation systems and landscape maintenance preferred
