Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance of parks, trails, and athletic fields including mowing, irrigation, and debris removal
- Assist with recreational program setup and execution including youth sports, fitness classes, and special events
- Conduct facility inspections and report maintenance needs or safety hazards
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors and program participants
- Operate light equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Support volunteer coordination and community engagement initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 1 year of groundskeeping or recreation experience
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Basic knowledge of turf management and horticulture practices
- Experience with event setup and light equipment operation preferred
