Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain park facilities, playgrounds, athletic courts, and trails
- Lead youth/adult recreational programs and sports leagues
- Perform groundskeeping duties including landscaping, irrigation, and pest control
- Enforce safety protocols during facility operations and events
- Assist in event setup, breakdown, and crowd management
- Conduct facility inspections and report maintenance needs
- Support volunteer coordination and community outreach initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year experience in park maintenance or recreation services
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment
