Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds, athletic fields, and facilities through landscaping, irrigation, and equipment operation
- Lead recreational programs including youth sports, senior activities, and community events
- Ensure public safety by inspecting facilities and enforcing park regulations
- Assist in event setup, breakdown, and coordination for festivals and gatherings
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and minor repairs
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors and program participants
- Collaborate with team members to implement seasonal initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in park maintenance or recreation services
- Valid Arizona Driver's License with clean driving record
- CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of hire
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of turf management, irrigation systems, and landscaping
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
