Responsibilities
- Operate park facilities, playgrounds, and athletic fields ensuring safety standards
- Plan and execute community events, festivals, and youth programs
- Perform routine maintenance including landscaping, equipment repair, and facility upkeep
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors and address inquiries
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on conservation and accessibility initiatives
- Enforce park regulations and safety protocols
- Assist in emergency response procedures during severe weather
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in recreation management preferred
- 1+ years experience in parks, landscaping, or customer service roles
- Valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor tasks in Texas climate
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly desirable
