Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain park facilities, playgrounds, athletic courts, and equipment
- Organize and lead recreational programs, sports leagues, and community events
- Conduct routine safety inspections and implement corrective actions
- Assist with facility reservations, registrations, and customer inquiries
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on park improvement projects
- Enforce park rules and regulations while providing exceptional visitor service
- Perform light landscaping, irrigation checks, and seasonal maintenance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in recreation management preferred
- 1+ years experience in parks, facilities management, or customer service
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work diverse populations
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks in varying weather conditions
- Proficiency with reservation software and Microsoft Office Suite
