As a key member of our operations team, you'll contribute directly to maintaining Tulsa's 130+ parks, playgrounds, and trails. Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance of park facilities including playground equipment, athletic courts, and picnic areas
- Assist with setup/teardown for community events, sports leagues, and festivals
- Conduct routine inspections of park grounds and report maintenance needs
- Support conservation efforts through native plant care and habitat restoration projects
- Provide exceptional customer service to park visitors and program participants
- Operate light machinery and equipment safely (mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems)
- Collaborate with full-time staff on seasonal beautification projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (current students welcome)
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of grounds maintenance practices preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
- Positive attitude with commitment to public service excellence
