Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of 5+ parks including maintenance scheduling and facility management
- Design and implement seasonal recreation programs serving 500+ participants monthly
- Manage $250K+ annual budgets for capital improvements and event production
- Lead cross-departmental initiatives with urban forestry and public safety teams
- Coordinate volunteer programs engaging 200+ community stewards annually
- Conduct site inspections ensuring ADA compliance and safety standards
- Develop grant proposals securing $100K+ in external funding
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Recreation Management, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years experience in municipal parks or large-scale recreation operations
- CPRP (Certified Parks and Recreation Professional) certification preferred
- Proficiency in budgeting software and grant writing frameworks
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record
- Demonstrated success in community engagement and program development
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in outdoor environments year-round
