Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds including turf management, irrigation systems, and facility upkeep
- Operate and maintain equipment like tractors, mowers, and hand tools safely
- Assist in organizing and leading recreational activities for all age groups
- Enforce park rules and ensure visitor safety during peak hours
- Perform routine inspections of playgrounds, trails, and sports facilities
- Collaborate with staff on seasonal projects and special events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Experience in grounds maintenance or recreation programs preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication skills and customer service focus
- Basic knowledge of turf management and horticulture practices
