Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds, athletic fields, and recreational facilities through landscaping, irrigation, and equipment operation
- Organize and supervise youth/adult recreational programs and special events
- Inspect facilities for safety hazards and perform preventive maintenance
- Interact positively with park visitors, providing information and resolving concerns
- Operate maintenance equipment including mowers, trimmers, and hand tools
- Assist in seasonal park setup and event preparations
- Document maintenance activities and submit reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor environments
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Valid Texas driver's license
- No prior experience required – paid training provided
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
- CPR/First Aid certification (training provided)
