Responsibilities
- Manage incoming communications, including phone calls, emails, and visitor inquiries, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems for departmental records.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of reports, memos, and general correspondence.
- Coordinate meeting schedules, book conference rooms, and prepare meeting materials as needed.
- Process invoices and expense reports in accordance with city financial policies.
- Provide general administrative support to department supervisors and staff.
- Ensure the office environment remains organized, professional, and welcoming to the public.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative or clerical role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Driver's License (preferred).
