Responsibilities
- Manage departmental calendars and coordinate meeting logistics for 10+ staff members
- Process purchase requisitions and track departmental budgets using SAP systems
- Compose professional correspondence, reports, and public-facing communications
- Respond to constituent inquiries via phone and email with accurate information
- Maintain digital and physical filing systems with strict confidentiality protocols
- Assist with onboarding new temporary staff and equipment inventory management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in administrative or customer service roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to pass background check and fingerprinting for municipal employment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Available to work 20-25 hours weekly with flexible daytime scheduling
