Responsibilities
- Manage the front desk reception area, greeting visitors and directing inquiries to appropriate departments.
- Process incoming mail, emails, and faxes with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and databases using government systems.
- Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments, and conference room bookings.
- Coordinate interdepartmental communications and draft correspondence as needed.
- Answer high-volume phone lines and provide general information to the public.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional administrative or clerical experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to municipal policies and procedures.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings or weekends as required.
