Responsibilities
- Manage incoming calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate department or personnel.
- Assist with data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate digital and physical records.
- Prepare correspondence, memos, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Greet visitors and provide information regarding city services, policies, and procedures.
- Support special projects, events, and community outreach initiatives as assigned.
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks such as processing invoices and expense reports.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in a government, municipal, or office administration setting is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to strict deadlines.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends or holidays, as needed.
