Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate physical and digital filing systems for department records.
- Receive, screen, and route incoming correspondence and inquiries to appropriate staff members.
- Perform data entry and update case files with precise attention to detail.
- Prepare and assemble routine reports, memos, and correspondence using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Assist visitors and employees with administrative questions in a professional and courteous manner.
- Perform general office duties including photocopying, faxing, and scheduling meetings.
- Ensure strict confidentiality of sensitive government documents at all times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or clerical role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic knowledge of government regulations or social services processes is a plus.
