Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate municipal records and filing systems in accordance with government standards.
- Assist visitors, citizens, and staff with inquiries regarding city services, ordinances, and procedures.
- Perform high-volume data entry and generate administrative reports using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, packages, and inter-departmental communications.
- Prepare and assemble meeting packets, agendas, and official correspondence.
- Monitor and maintain office supplies and equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Support special events and administrative projects as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clerical or administrative experience in a government or corporate environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with the public.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Knowledge of public records management or government regulations is a plus.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
