Responsibilities
- Process and maintain veteran benefit documentation with strict compliance to federal regulations
- Manage scheduling, correspondence, and records for a 15-person veteran services team
- Coordinate cross-agency communications with federal, state, and local partners
- Assist with data entry using VA-specific systems (VBA, VISTA)
- Support outreach initiatives for underserved veteran populations
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership review
- Ensure HIPAA and PII compliance in all documentation
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship (federal requirement)
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience in regulated environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
- Experience with federal records management systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of veteran services preferred
