Responsibilities
- Review and process veteran benefit claims with 99.7% accuracy
- Analyze medical documentation against federal regulations (38 CFR)
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and veterans' families
- Maintain secure digital claim files in VA systems
- Resolve discrepancies through research and stakeholder communication
- Generate monthly compliance reports for leadership review
- Train on new federal policies quarterly
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
- 2+ years claims processing experience
- Proficiency in VA systems (VBMS, VBA) or similar platforms
- Knowledge of HIPAA and federal privacy regulations
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- U.S. citizenship and background clearance required
- Experience with veterans' healthcare preferred
